Refugees and asylum seekers don’t, by definition, have an Embassy to protect them. They can’t rely on the Australian government or DIBP, which punishes and rejects them.

Come and protest against the abuse of asylum seekers by the government, including:

  • Kidnapping of Sri Lankans at sea;
  • Offshore detention on Nauru and Manus;
  • Hundreds of children still behind razor wire; and
  • the mooted “Cambodia solution”

The Refugee Embassy will appear in different places and at different times around Canberra to highlight and oppose the cruel and shameful policies Australia has adopted towards refugees.
