#Breaking Albanese Government with the support of the Coaliton has just passed the bill in Parliament to prevent Iranians with valid visas from entering Australia for the next 6 months. It will now be law in next day. Likely apply to people from Lebanon too. Utterly despicable.

"Seeking asylum is a human right. It is not determined by nationality, profile, and platform. It is universal. This law is an affront to those rights," ASC CEO and former refugee Elijah Buol says.

Remember today as the day Labor and the Liberals teamed up to rush through new powers to block refugees from fleeing to safety, from the very conflicts Australia is following the US into.
