Date(s) - Sat 19 Jan 2019
12:00 - 16:30
Corroboree Park Community Centre
Every year the Refugee Action Committee gets together to review what we’ve done in the last year and to plan for the next.
2018 has been a particularly important one for our campaign.
But there is a growing feeling in the population that “enough is enough” and that now is the time to get rid of the “Pacific Solution” once and for all. Palm Sunday this year (14 April) will very likely be during the Federal Election campaign. We can make an impact on the election campaign by building for it. 2019, especially the first half of the year, could be the most important time to be involved in many years.
So this planning meeting is important. A discussion document can be viewed here.
Details: There will be a BBQ and lunch from 12 – 1pm, discussions until 4.30pm followed by drinks.
Where: Corroboree Park Community Centre, Patterson St., Ainslie
RSVP: There is no need to RSVP.
