The general meetings allow us to get together to coordinate our activities. They also provide an opportunity for new members to get an understanding of what RAC does, and find ways to contribute. If you are yet to be involved in the campaign but would like to find a way to help, we urge you to come along.
The agenda is:
1. Update on July Labor focused event
2. Refugee Week
3. Discussion on post-July activity
4. Elections of new Steering Committee
5. Other business
The Steering Committee is made up of people who have played active roles in the working groups. Its role is to provide coordination for the campaign – focusing on support for Working Groups, logistics for rallies, meetings and the like, providing ideas to be discussed at the General Meetings and leadership for the campaign. If you are interested in standing and would like to know more please email mail@refugeeaction.org before the General Meeting on Tuesday.
