1. Update on Campaign Situation.
Update on political developments since our last meeting and their significance for the campaign, including the Nauru Files, the status of the Manus Island detention, and changing attitudes to detention in Australia.
2. Next Major Rally, 30 October
We agreed at the previous general meeting to have our next major rally around 30 October (with some flexibility in case it became a national rally). This agenda item will include discussion of the theme, the location and the focus of the rally.
3. Other Future Actions
Between now and the major rally, we will need to hold another event to help build it. This is a discussion of what that might be.
The general meetings are an important opportunity for us to discuss ideas and make decisions on the future direction of the campaign. If you’d like to be involved in shaping the campaign over the next few months we encourage you to come along. All are welcome.
