Campaigns Against Racism & The Music They Inspired

Public Event, 1pm, Saturday 10 May

ANU, Room G031, Copland Building
The campaign for justice for refugees is also a campaign against racism and, alongside activists and advocates across Australia, the Refugee Action Campaign in Canberra is part of the tradition of great historical struggles against racism. Join us for this public event that will chart the journey of some of these great struggles and the music that they have inspired.
From the campaigns to abolish slavery, the struggle for civil rights and, later, Rock Against Racism to today, join us as we hear the stories, the music and the images that have become part of the history of campaigns against racism.
